Dr. Cordy DuBois, Ph.D.

Cordy completed her PhD at the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada) specializing in equine welfare science. Since graduating, her work has largely focused on the  development of an on-farm assessment program and its accompanying verification tool, as well as resources for educators and owners. 

Cordy is also very interested in capturing the nuances of welfare perception and the 

commensurate challenges involved in implementing evidence-based practices. Her recent work with the National Farm Animal Care Council has led her down the path of facilitation and negotiation, learning to help groups reach consensus in challenging topic areas.
